The Neal & Massy Foundation are hoping to keep the dreams of football players alive by contributing towards the development of a football school programme managed by the Grassroots Association of St Ann’s.

Store Manager of Hi-Lo Food Stores in St Ann’s, Christine James, represented the Foundation in a meeting with president of the Grassroots Association of St Ann’s, Curtis Bateau, where she congratulated the organisation on its sporting initiatives.

The Foundation donated $5,000 to the Association to assist with the purchase of training footballs for the youths in the programme, who have been training on President’s Grounds in St Ann’s for the past nine years.

Bateau and his team are working toward unifying young people in his community through the avenue of sport and have indicated that the Foundation’s contribution will significantly assist with their plans to empower and develop youth. In addition to the football programme, the Grassroots Association hosts Family Day events as a means of encouraging family bonding and community involvement.

The Foundation is pleased to play a part in this organisation’s role in promoting sport and community development. Hi-Lo are a contributing company to the Neal & Massy Foundation.
