WESTSIDE SUPERSTARZS FC will be going all out to stretch their lead in the Blink/Bmobile National Super League when action on Match Day Eight takes place today.

The current table-toppers are scheduled to host neighbours Defence Force at the St Anthony’s College Ground, Westmoorings.

Joe Public, the 2011 League winners, are two points adrift of Westside. They can keep the pressure on Westside, or even retake top spot in the 12- team competition, when they visit 1976 FC Phoenix at Canaan, Bon Accord.

Third-placed WASA FC will entertain Club Sando at the WASA Ground in St Joseph, fourth-placed Real Maracas will host Stokely Vale at the Maracas Recreation Ground in St Joseph while fifth-placed Eagles United will welcome the challenge of cellar-placed Biche United at the Homeland Gardens Recreation Ground in Chaguanas.

Today’s other contest will feature Siparia Spurs against FC Santa Rosa at the Palo Seco Velodrome. All of today’s matches will kick off at 4 pm, with the exception of the Siparia-Santa Rosa contest, which is expected to get going at five o’clock.
