TRINIDAD AND Tobago golf team will be defending the Arthur Zaidie Trophy - the overall crown) at the 56th annual RBC-sponsored Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships at the Royal St Kitts Golf Course, St Kitts from August 6-12.

The team, lead by captain Deryck Gonsalves, is primed up to bring the trophy back home along with the individual trophies in each of the five categories.

President of the Trinidad and Tobago Golf Association (TTGA) and team manager Kenny Attai was confident that the team’s preparation went well and the players were focussed on their tasks at hand.

He advised that the competition is expected to be tough in all five categories but Trinidad and Tobago is up to the challenge and is looking forward to capturing all five categories this year given the blend of composition of experience and youth.
