MALABAR FC and neighbours La Horquetta SA will face off in the final of the Eastern Football Association (EFA) FA Trophy competition following contrasting results in their respective semi-final matches.

The final is scheduled for August 26, from 4 pm, at the Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya.

Malabar got two goals apiece from Stevon Stoute and Dinell Lopez as they demolished Boss FC 8-0.

Stoute found the back in the net in the 19th and 69th minutes, while Lopez struck in the 26th and 30th.

Robert Alexis (77th), Norrel George (79th) and Kevon Cornwall (90th) also scored for Malabar, while Boss’ misery was compounded with an own goal from Anton De Leon in the 52nd.

And La Horquetta got a pair from Keron Clarke, in the 15th and 37th minutes, to edge Joe Public 2-1. Keith Wyllie netted for Joe Public in the 22nd.
