Winners live up to name at Bamboo

WINNERS LIVED up to their name as they whipped Shandy Boys SC by seven wickets on October 11 as the North/South Windball Cricket League continued at the Bamboo Settlement Number One Recreation Ground, Valsayn.

Shandy Boys SC posted a tally of 45 runs for five wickets in their allotted 12 overs with Barry Dathardeen hitting an unbeaten 14 while Jeewan Ramroop was on the other end with 10.

Avian Mejias claimed two wickets for five runs while Joel Mohamed had 2/6.

Winners, in reply, reached 46/3 in eight overs courtesy of Terrance Hinds’ topscore of 19.
