Serrette retains NAAA presidency
Sunday, December 1 2013
EPHRAIM SERRETTE has retained his post as president of the National Association of Athletic Administration (NAAA) after defeating long-standing official Rawle Raphael, the founder of the Hampton Athletic Club and the Hampton International Games, in yesterday’s election of officers, at the NAAA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the VIP Lounge, Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo.
The former national sprinter got 56 votes to Raphael’s 14 for the position of president, and will be serving his third three-year term at the helm - he took over from Ken Doldron who resigned in 2006 and was re-elected in 2007 and 2010.
